The western branch will evolve into Classical Nellian and it will be the sole member of its branch. It will serve as ...

I've only just glanced at Wendoth, but I like what I've seen so far. I especially enjoyed the attention to historical detail. Oh, and welcome to the board.

Re: No Voiced Plosives or Fricatives
<z> is used for /θ/ in some dialects of Spanish and, I think, <x> is used for /ʃ/ in several Iberian languages (thus carrying on the Iberian influence seen in <z>). Indeed. My current project has <z> for /θ/. The consonant inventory of said project isn't all that different from this one, actually: ...

Re: Can you determine degree of openness&frontness of my vow
Yeah, it sounds somewhat fronted, which is typical of a lot English I've heard. I only really hear /u/ as when it precedes [ɫ]. So what I'm hearing from you is something like [a ɛ eɪ̯ i ɔ oʊ̯ ə u̟] (disregarding the length).

Re: Sun Speech (Isidriè), and its script (Isidriaghò)
This is starting to sound like an echo chamber but that's one hell of a script you've got there. You obviously put a lot of work into the design process. The drawings in your album were nice as well - hopefully we'll see more of those if you decide to share something on the culture and whatnot. Also...

Go for it! I'd love to see some stuff on Ainu, even if I won't be doing much in the way of learning the actual language.

Honestly, all you need to do now is read the material you were linked to and gain some more experience. You're not gonna get it right the first time, but instead of getting depressed you should just power through and realize how exciting it is that you've got so much left to learn. However, if you w...

Re: (Conlangs) Q&A Thread - Quick questions go here
Also, is their any way to derive front rounded vowels (and unrounded back vowels) from the following proto-inventory: /i u a/? /au/ → /øː/ is attested in Old Norse to Swedish and Danish. But then again, ON already had /ø/. I suppose you could go with an i-umlaut, and just have /u/ front to /y/ if t...
