i usually don't put homophones in my languages on purpose, though they tend to pop up after some sound changes. i had one language where the words for "here" and "there" merged (though "yon" remained distinguishable)

i like how japanese does it, which is by just sticking the clause before the modified noun. since the word order is (more or less) SOV, which makes "forsake the lies you have been told from birth" look something like "from birth/told/lies/forsake." i've used this construction in ...

really there are just nouns and verbs. adjectives are a kind of verb, and pronouns are a type of noun with contracted declined forms.
