Re: Post-Modern English

Agree. English already has an incréased amount of inflexion compared to the post-Middle / post-Early Modern period's loss of A.S. inflexion. As Salmoneus points out, our verbal conjugation is already making steam for Complexity City. Just listen to some of the compound tense-aspect-person-object ag...

Just like to reiterate how nice it all looks so far! I'll be here waiting for more grammar! Were any natlangs particularly important or inspirational?

Re: Niûro nCora

Wow! I love the idea of the deep orthography and it seems like you put a lot of thought into creating it. Do you have any more example sentences show the orthography in action? Anything other general stuff you can tell us about the language before you go into more detail?

World Gazetter

To my dismay, I've found that world-gazetteer.com has been discontinued. It allowed you to search population statistics by city, province, region, and country anywhere in the world. Does anybody know of a website that provides an equivalent resource?

I must say, I agree. Would it be possible to see some more texts written?

Re: (Conlangs) Q&A Thread - Quick questions go here

@sangi

I was looking for a coronal retroflex distinction without a palatal POA because it seemed like the majority of languages with retroflex series also had palatal series, Australian and Indian languages. I've just confusedly been thinking of palatal as a coronal POA.

Are there any good examples? It doesn't seems like a very common feature

Re: (Conlangs) Q&A Thread - Quick questions go here

Hello! I've been lurking here for years and I guess I'm ready to start participating.

Question: Are there any languages with just a two way coronal contrast that is not dental/alveolar and palatal?
