Proto-Atsiq(this is a collaborative language project I take part in on CWS)

qaup

v. to stumble, to tumble

Next(from Proto-Atsiq):

yumpai [jumpai]

n. ghost, phantom, apparition
I prefer to not be referred to with masculine pronouns and nouns such as “he/him/his”.

auçíts [ɔˈɕits] n. a wisp/soupçon/trace of a lingering scent (usually meant positively)

Image

It could mean anything, from a woman leaving a room with a hint a rose behind her, a chicken cooking in sage from we know not where (well, of course, we do, but we can use this to describe something smelling good from elsewhere); such as applies to males, well, of course, men apply cologne (at least in the period we're describing), but it could also apply to male muskness (not BO), after a full game of tennis before you bathe before dinner. Perhaps I watch too much period drama; the scents would be brandy, tobacco smoke, and belched some sort of heavy sauce.

Yasnic(another collab language I take part in)

deppój /dɛppɔj/ v. to disturb, to bother

dep /dɛp/ v. to stir

pój /pɔj/ v. to disarray

Next(from Yasnic):

conïder /konɨdɛɹ/ v. to be more of a hindrance than a help(tring to help but mess up with the thing being helped)
I prefer to not be referred to with masculine pronouns and nouns such as “he/him/his”.

帮倒忙 is an incredibly useful word (and your explanation is word-for-word identical to the iciba definition), and inspired by this, I will incorporate the concept into Géarthnuns, though I think it will be placed elsewhere in the lexicon. For what's on offer here, I think I'm channelling Géarthnuns-speakers as saying:

koniders [ˈkonɪˌdɛɾs] n. "third wheel"
konidezh [ˈkonɪˌdɛʒ] vi. play gooseberry, be the third wheel
tenir la chandelle (Thanks for teaching me the expression, Plus belle la vie! [xP] )
當電燈泡 (feel the light bulb -- be the light bulb [xD] )
