üçkebaks [ˈyɕkɛˌbaks] n. a traditional flavored beer
(A number of flavored beers that are indigenous to Géarthtörs, along the lines of Belgian kriek, although, since it's an indigenous beverage, the Géarthçins will insist that it's completely different from kriek. As one might well imagine, philistines infiltrated the lower end of the market with such heinous concoctions as ganache üçkebaks, lemon meringue üçkebaks, and <shudder> bubblegum üçkebaks. Purists were up in arms, o tempora - o mores, and even the general public felt increasingly ill at ease with the beloved term üçkebaks being unabashedly slapped onto any ol' alcopop, so there are now regulations in place as to what exactly may be called an üçkebaks. These days, if you want to sell a mango parfait or Velveeta üçkebaks, you either have to call it an "üçkebaks-like flavored malt beverage product" (appetizing, isn't it?) or just call it something else, the now-preferred marketing strategy.)

(almost enough consonant clusters for the Arimaspeans to consider that a Chatterer word (i've found references to them in notes notes about the Arimaspean language family dating to within a month of the family's origin...yet about all i know of the Chatterers is that their language is rich in consonant clusters, and nearly all the consonants are bilabials and dentals))

understandable slip; particularly when two notifications arrive at the same time.

(btw, is there a word for a "false false friend"?)
