What I find the most elegant direct translation ... which may not be idiomatic.

Hapa ni mahali pa kusikilizwa kwa sala.
hapa ni mahali p-a ku-sikiliz-w-a kw-a sala
here.16 COP place(LOC) 16-GEN INF/GER(15)-listen.to-PASS-Ø 15-GEN prayer(9/10)

This is a place for prayers to be heard.
(Literally: "This is a place for/of the being heard of prayers.")

I've seen lots of examples with a structure that seems suspiciously like the contemporary English "noun + infinitive/gerund" construction (ie. which would have mahali pa sala kusikilizwa), but I have a funny feeling that it's calqued in translations from English, so I'm avoiding it.

Probably much more idiomatic but lacks the meaning in the original that this is the purpose of that place:

Hapa ni mahali ambapo sala husikilizwa.
hapa ni mahali amba-po sala hu-sikiliz-w-a
here.16 COP place(LOC) REL-16.REL prayer(9/10) HAB-listen.to-PASS-Ø

This is a place where prayers are heard.
Glossing Abbreviations: COMP = comparative, C = complementiser, ACS / ICS = accessible / inaccessible, GDV = gerundive, SPEC / NSPC = specific / non-specific, AG = agent, E = entity (person, animal, thing)

Pod
Yn dåsin nildor pray’yn yn ńon by ṭigpi
[in dɑsin nɪldɑɹ pɹaiːn in ŋɑn pʼi tʼɪgpi]
IMP this place hear-IMP IMP where multiple prayer
This is a place for prayers to be heard(lit, this is being a place where prayers are being hearing)

Passive verbs and forms of to-be are hard to form in Pod, so the translation isn't great.
