Yes, there are articles in people's names too. Generally the order of the sentences are SOV, but they can also be SVO. It's rare, though, and depends on the context. Also, the Ablative has it's own case to which the noun is declined, rather than using prepositions (Armenian doesn't really have any prepositions). Those semicolons are periods [:P]

[tick] Okay.
2) 门开了。

Forcefully? Was it rotted shut so he needed a crowbar?

Woefully ungrammatical to me. Perhaps in a horror story, you could write, "门自己打开了" ("The door opened on its own. EEK!")
6) 彼得让了约翰开门。
Bǐdé ràngle yuēhàn kāi mén.

Peter let-PERF John open door
Peter made John open the door.
Well, maybe, but it begs contextual clues.
7) 彼得开门了。
Bǐdé kāiménle.

Peter open_door-PERF
Peter opened.
[tick] But you're back up to #1

As I've mentioned elsewhere, I'm not a native speaker, but 开门 almost feels a lexical unit like 吃饭. Once you start adding adverbial froufrou 'n stuff, making the verb "打开” feels more natch to me. 把门打开

3) 门被打开了。
4) 门被彼得打开了。

:tan: Swahili:

I will simply gloss the stem -fungu- here as "open" but it should be noted that this derives from -fung- "close" plus -u-, a suffix which often reverses the meaning.

1)
Peter alifungua mlango.
Peter a-li-fungu-a mlango
Peter(CL1) CL1-PST-open-Ø door(CL3)

Peter opened the door.

2)
Mlango ulifunguka.
mlango u-li-fungu-k-a
door(CL3) CL3-PST-open-STAT

The door opened.

3)

:jpn: Japanese

Japanese has many transitive/intransitive verb pairs, where the verbs look similar and have essentially the same meaning, except that one is transitive and one is intransitive. This is a case where that comes into play. The verbs used here are 開ける akeru for "to open" in the transitive sense and 開く aku for "to open" in the intransitive sense.

ピーターがドアを開けた。
Pītā ga doa o aketa.
[pîːtaː ga dóa o aketa]
Pītā ga doa o ake-ta
Peter SBJ door OBJ open.TR-PST.AFF

Peter opened the door.

ドアが開いた。
Doa ga aita.
[dóa ga aita]
doa ga ai-ta
door SBJ open.INTR-PST.AFF

The door opened. (note: 開いた aita is the past tense form of 開く aku mentioned above)

ドアが開けられた。
Doa ga akerareta.
[dóa ga akeɾaɾeta]
doa ga ake-rare-ta
door SBJ open.TR-PAS-PST.AFF

The door was opened.

ドアがピーターに開けられた。
Doa ga Pītā ni akerareta.
[dóa ga pîːtaː ni akeɾaɾeta]
doa ga Pītā ni ake-rare-ta
door SBJ Peter by open.TR-PAS-PST.AFF

The door was opened by Peter.

ドアが自分を開けた。
Doa ga jibun o aketa.
[dóa ga d͡ʑibũː o aketa]
doa ga jibun o ake-ta
door SBJ REFL OBJ open.TR-PST.AFF

The door opened itself.

ピーターがジョンにドアを開けさせた。
Pītā ga Jon ni doa o akesaseta.
[pîːtaː ga d͡ʑón ni dóa o akesaseta]
Pītā ga Jon ni doa o ake-sase-ta
Peter SBJ John IO door OBJ open.TR-CAUS-PST.AFF

Peter made John open the door.

ピーターが開けた。
Pītā ga aketa.
[pîːtaː ga aketa]
Pītā ga ake-ta
Peter SBJ open.TR-PST.AFF

Peter opened (it).

"Peter opened", with "opened" being transitive, feels ungrammatical to me in English. It feels like there needs to be an object: "Peter opened it."

1. Peteči dufarači yamivi.

"Peter opened a/the door"

2. Dufarači yamivi kevi.
door-SG open-INDIR.PST.3p.SG.OBJ 3p.GEN.SG
"The door opened (itself)."

3. (Anureči) dufarači yamivi.

"The door was opened."

4. Dufarači Peteči yamivi.
door-SG Peter-SG open-INDIR.PST.3p.SG.OBJ
"The door was opened by Peter."

5. Same as 2.

6. Peteči Joçi dufarači yamise nguvi.
Peter-SG John-GEN.SG door-SG open-NOM cause-INDIR.PST.3p.SG.OBJ
"John made Peter open the door."

Classical Anesa doesn't really make any use of passive voice marking, instead preferring reflexives, indefinite pronouns, and syntax tricks. It's worth noting that "the door," when an object, is better translated as indefinite; pro-drop always happens when an object is mentioned in a preceding sentence.
