In this case, your knowledge of German is clouding your judgment haha. The prefix is related to the German but has a different use in Gotski.

No. Sorry, I misread your question before and thought that the <T> was x-sampa/T/. The initial is the interdental fricative. Since I messed up I’ll also give you a couple extra clues...you have the right stem vowel now and you were closer with the stem ending in <k> than <g>.
