Is it "danger, peril"? I have a feeling there's more to it, but I figured I'd ask just to be sure.

[:D] "Danger, peril" is indeed the meaning of the first component of the word, but there is more to it.

Yes, an switch the same basic meaning, although in French the word was borrowed directly from Latin, while in Boral lussour is a direct descendant.

Is the French word luxure? If so, does perigllussour refer to the "lust for danger" that some people have?

Wow! [:D]
Absolutely correct; in my mind I was thinking of that exact adrenaline-junkie "desire for danger".
Well done!

Ah, thank you! That's a great word; I actually can't think of a good equivalent in English. Once I realized that the second part of the word might be "lust", terms like "thrill-seeker" and "adrenaline junkie" came to mind, but those refer to people, not the feeling itself. I guess it's like Wanderlust, but for danger? Gefahrlust?
