Want to translate this into all the Lonian languages, but feel like atm I only have time and energy for one.
Ganur Lon
There are polite ways to say this and vulgar ways to say it. First the polite ways:
Up ec caskjim.
/up ec ˈcaskjim/
up ec cask-j-im
be DEM crap-INDEF.SBJ-speak
"That is spoken crap."
Up ec caskjong.
/up ec ˈcaskjong/
up ec cask-j-ong
be DEM crap-INDEF.SBJ-write
"That is written crap."
Now the vulgar ways:
Up ec cacjim.
/up ec ˈcacjim/
up ec cac-j-im
be DEM shit-INDEF.SBJ-speak
"That is spoken shit."
Up ec cacjong.
/up ec ˈcacjong/
up ec cac-j-ong
be DEM shit-INDEF.SBJ-write
"That is written shit."
Cask is, of course, a minced oath for cac. It is no more offensive than heck is in English, and is much more widely used.

Re: It's all Greek to me (idiomatic)
I'm happy to push the discussion into 'terra incognita'. But, truthfully, sometimes it's not just the alphabet that's stylized , a lot of the vocabulary is , too. Depending on what you're reading, almost all of it might be in origin (save the Articles, Conjunctions, Coverbs, PRNs).Lambuzhao, god I'm envious of you reading Coptic. I know the alphabet is just stylized Greek, but I've never put the time into learning the language.
It is delightful and refreshing (albeit tenuous at times) to be able find out just how Egyptian a Coptic word may be.
And there's the whole 'Coptic Question':

Re: It's all Greek to me (idiomatic)
Very good one from Indonesian:
Itu bahasa planet.
[itu baˈhasa plaˈnet]
DEM language planet
That's the language of a planet.
Itu bahasa planet.
[itu baˈhasa plaˈnet]
DEM language planet
That's the language of a planet.
Wipe the glass. This is the usual way to start, even in the days, day and night, only a happy one.
Re: It's all Greek to me (idiomatic)
Another, older way of saying it in Ganur Lon that I just rediscovered:
Up ec ganet cane.
/up ec ˈga.net ˈca.ne/
be PRO.3SG language-more.general PRO.DAT-1SG
"That's a quasi-language to me." or "That's gibberish to me."
