Something simple to deal with the amazing phenomenon that happened today. Only problem is that it doesn't include the actual word for 'eclipse'. [:S]
So I added an addendum [:3]

:eng:

But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light.
Did you see the eclipse?

:tan: Swahili (Biblia Takatifu + Own translation):

Lakini siku zile, baada ya dhiki hiyo, jua litatiwa giza, na mwezi hatautoa mwanga wake.
But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light.

*The moon has been treated as animate here. If inanimate, the verb would be "ha-u-ta-(u)-to-a" NEG-3-FUT-(3)-give.out-Ø.

**There is a nominalisation of "eclipse": kupatwa kwa jua "the being-seized of the sun", but it seems to be used as a verb phrase wherever possible and the situational verb form makes this nice and compact: jua likipatwa "the sun being seized"
