Although the usage of euphonic -d in the word ad, according to academic rules, is restricted to occasions in which it's followed by a word starting with a-, it is common usage to add it before any vowel, to the point that most speakers don't even know this rule anymore. Thus, if I were to say this sentence out loud, I would definitely use ad.
