There's more than one version in :lat:-

Mica, mica, parva stella,
Miror quaenam sis tam bella.
Super terra** in caelo, Alba gemma splendido2.
Mica, mica, parva stella,
Miror quaenam sis tam bella.

** terra normally is accusative with super. Therefore super terram
2 - caelo...splendido: splendido goes with caelo. The two are separated by the phrase
"alba gemma" which within the parameters of the poem physically suggests that the star is "within the resplendent firmament".

I did this back in 2011, so I'm curious to see how I translate it differently now.

:con:Kwëpta
Loikaatas, loikaatas nyírathön kawí
Mína hafas mit sína ëas.
Sör a wísú yuyúnen grä
kúvau vinëlú hyö a saminëlikö.

Loikaata.s, lokaata.s nyírathön kawí
mína hafa.s mit sína ëa.s
Sör a wísú yuyúnen grä
kúvau vinëlú hyö a saminëlikö.

Twinkle.PRES, twinkle.PRES star little
1S wonder.PRES what 2S be.PRES.
Above DEF earth high so
Like diamond of DEF sky.

Obviously, it doesn't work with the song. For anyone who's interested, here's the 2011 version, which is significantly different.
Loistas, loistas nyírathón kawí
Hafas mit tamé éas.
Tamé éas sór a kúvalma
Vinélú hýo aurana.
Loistas, loistas nyírathón kawí
Hafas mit tamé éas.

Shine, shine little star
(I) wonder what you1 are.
You1 are above the realm2.
A diamond of a night3.
Shine, shine little star
(I) wonder what you1 are.

1. Archaic. I'm not even sure if it really means you. It's found nowhere else in my notes.
2. kúvalma is used more to mean realm in modern Kwëpta. I must have invented the word wísú later. Wísú is a loanword from Fuini, so that's entirely possible.
3. Not sure why I didn't make it "a aurana". I kind of like calling a star "vinëlú hyö a aurana" though.

I couldn’t resist this since the word for star is used to mean shine in Uskra. It is also used as prefix to describe shiny things.
But the poem doesn't really suit the language. [:S]

** Class 8 is used as an adverbial class, so vile ulivyo is essentially "that way which you are".
