Shouldn't it be "Englisch"?

Oh, maaf, ya? Cuma karna kalau pake Google Translate itu salah-salah terus.
Oh, I'm sorry. Google Translate often prodcues such mistakes, that's why I thought you were using it.

Indeed - I have too few opportunities to practice German.

J'ai commencé à essayer d'écrire créativement en français. Je veux qu'il ait l'air ancien. Dites-moi auquel vous pensez jusqu'à maintenant. [:)]
I started trying to write creatively in French. I want it to sound older. Let me know what you think about it so far

It was just past midnight and the clock stopped moving. A brown table lied next to it while being covered by the shadows of the room. The room was narrow and all of the light in it, came just from the basement windows

Je pense que c'est assez bien.
/ʃ pɑ̃s kə sɛ ase bjɛ̃/
I think it's quite good.
[:)]

A few years ago, I wrote a short story for a French composition class and these sentences remind me of it because it was about a cursed clock.

/ʒə n pø pa diʁ si tɔ̃‿nekʁityʁ a vʁɛmɑ̃ lɛʁ ɑ̃sjɛ̃ me ʒɛ kɔʁiʒe kɛlkə‿zɛʁœʁ | ɛspas ɛ sœlmɑ̃ yn bɔn tʁadyksjɔ̃ də … kɑ̃ s dɛʁnje vø diʁ …/
I can't say if you were successful in giving your writing an old sound, but I corrected some errors. "Espace" only translates the "open space" meaning of "room".

I also think "en étant couverte" (and "while being covered" for that matter) implies an action when you're only describing a state. The past participle on its own works better for me.

I think it's a good start.

I could write a story in French but not Japanese.

Creyeditor, where are you learning Indonesian?

Saya belajar bahasa Indonesia satu tahun di universitas.

I learned Indonesian at university for one year.

but now I have a lot of Indonesian friends.

Belajar dengan teman itu yang paling cepat.
You can learn very fast with friends.

But I already started with Papuan dialect, because a lot of my friends are from Papua.

Thanks for fixing and it's funny that you wrote a story with a clock too. I don't think mine's haunted though

I tried to write more of my story too:
As the morning reflected on the windows and the darkness disappear, a form began to emerge from the darkness: a man. While his hair was black, his eyes were as light as a stream.
