Stųroy br brigas, salu Fugmaka ufų.
all be fine-NOM.SG, when Heaven-ACC.SG be.inside-INFIN.ACT-NOM.SG

Heocg's lack of locational prepositions (only locative verbs) makes this horribly awkward and long.

In this case I would simply shorten the conjunction and let it become a clitic... for example... "sa=Fugmaka ufų" or "Fugmaka ufų=lu", one syllable less [:)]

That actually sounds like an interesting idea for vernacular speech. I might try that.

A clitic meaning "when" becoming a definite article would be...strange.

Heocg is heavily influenced by a language that does have definite articles, Azenti. I think I might sketch out a heavily Azenti-influenced variety of Heocg with definite articles from demonstratives (and maybe an indefinite from mi- "one"), with case marking of nouns atrophying while being shifted onto the articles. Though, given that demonstratives in Heocg come after the noun, they'd end up being Nordic-style suffixed articles. At that point, though, it would basically be a different language.

EDit: Ooh, maybe I can turn pronouns into clitics and then we got person-marking on verbs...

So, there's my humble contribution *yay*

:con: Romanz
Eno cielo, *todo est buono.

in-ART.DEF.NOM.SG.n every-INAN.ACC.SG.n be-3PS.SG.PRES good-ADJ.ACC.SG.n
[ˈɛno ˈt͡ʃɛːlo ˈtɔːðo es bˈbɔːno] - some dialect pronunciation
[ˈɛno ˈt͡ʃɛːlo ˈtɔːðo est ˈbwɔno] - the literary/standard pronunciation

In heaven, everything is fine.
*= todu/-a/-o is used for inanimate nouns or animals. For humans, sentient referents or pets (if one is bound to them), one would use ognes [ˈɔːɲɲes].

For the interested beings
Romanz is diachronic and derives from Vulgar Latin (could this work otherwise?), but it started out as a naïve auxlang (still evident).
It's based on Old :ita: ~ Old :esp: and a bit of Logudorese :srd: . What I have worked out is situated roughly between the late fifth and early ninth century.
Although, diachronics... the story is a little complicated.

Is Romanz a diachronic Romance language? If so, does it derive from Classical or Vulgar Latin?
