There are so many ways to put the act of intercourse into words, but how do your people say it? Is it "making love" or "having sex" or do they have more than one way to say it? Is there the "scientific term" or a more romantic way?

This is one of the verbs I'm using to experiment with the effects of various oblique cases used with intransitive verbs. I'm using '-Ukfae-' as a humorous place-holder until I come up with a decent-sounding alternative, by the way.

Boring for anglophones, but in my native language, 'sleep together/with' does not have a sexual connotation, so I still find these semantics interesting; also, Vanga doesn't handle it in the exact same way, since this just means to get located/positioned in a way that would imply sleep (that is, lying down, probably on a bed). This would be very phrasal, of course, and would be used even if the act is not performed while lying down.

For obvious reasons, the most common usage would be with the dual number:

The root "erd" is close to the meaning of "make love" though it does not contain the word love.

The intensive form with a voiceless end of the stem would mean "to have hard sex". This could actually be a more brutal word.

Every language has its own set of slang terms for intercourse. These are often informal and can range from playful to vulgar. In English, for instance, there are numerous slang terms, each with its own connotation and level of acceptability

To my American Standard English trained ears, it sound weird to divide sexual acts into exactly two categories, depending just on who’s on top!
