Haha, thank you! At least, I think so. I hope that's a good thing!
Yeah, I just don't really feel comfortable without such a high level of diversity, and since I'm not confident with my knowledge of sound changes, I'm trying to be diverse by putting in many different language families. And honestly, I started out with less than ten, but I kept finding empty corners of the maps I drew and other such niches to fill, so…

Alias(es): Darc, DarcX, or DarcX2
Location: A small town near New Orleans, Louisiana.
Date of Birth: 1/9/95
Gender: Male
Occupation: Soon-to-be freshman at LSU - Baton Rouge.
Interests: Conlangs, linguistics, grammar in general, math (<- what I'm majoring in), music - playing piano and drums, as well as singing, a little graphic/web design, music theory
Favorite Music: Metal - mainly in the technical/progressive field. I also like some electronica and acoustic music. Classical music is nice, too~
Religion: Agnostic atheist, used to be a Mormon, but idk.
Political Ideology: Never really thought of it, to be honest. I guess you could say I'm more liberal, though.
Conlangs: None, but I'm working on one that's currently untitled.
Other hobbies: As stated in the "Interests" section, I love math - pursuing a career as an actuary, I play piano and drum set, I played trumpet in school since 5th grade, but I haven't touched since graduating. I used to be really into graphic design; I almost went into that field. I still do some when I can. I like playing video games, but I haven't the money to play anything recently. I reaallly want a 3DS, though.
Where do you see yourself in ten years? Having gotten my degree and certification as an actuary, I see myself living with my girlfriend (should we stay together that long) and working while she's still getting her PhD in psychology.

I've always loved math, haha. Though it seems as though a lot of people (in this thread, at least) like math, which isn't very perplexing as conlanging and grammar, etc., are very left-brained interests. :B

Many children make up, or begin to make up, imaginary languages. I have been at it since I could write.

As well as a few other species of the world's most venomous spiders, yes. Also: some of the world's most venoumous insects, snakes, [octopus.PL], jellyfish, abominations against nature, and jellyfish. Not to mention the aggressive (although surprisingly non-venomous, apparently) giant crocodiles and the murderous frikkin' kangaroos. But yeah, apart from the whole continent trying to destroy you, I hear it's quite nice.eldin raigmore wrote:And funnel-web spiders.Felbah wrote:It is a lovely place...
