Most close kinship terms and a few others are often used with a special shortened genitive form, eg. mwanangu instead of mwana wangu. In the case of mwana, it is almost never used without it.

I will be interested to see nuances in conlang POSS.ADJs.

For example a simple 1SG.POSS may be used in a situation where you'd be saying this to a family therapist who isn't worth their salt. Someone who knows the speaker & child, but is not family or otherwise superclose (step-parent or parent-in-law to the child, speaker's recently ex-significant other).

In another situation, the speaker may be using some kind of special 1SG.POSS exclusive (mine, not yours), b/c you're speaking to the child's abusive dead-beat other parent. Or maybe a 2DU.EXCL.OBJ that implies that the interlocutor is not to speak to either the speaker or the son (because they are {from here on in} strangers). An extra dollop of estrangement?
:?:
I recall that Native American langs are big with exclusivity/inclusivity. Is this sort of thing possible to achieve for them?

Maybe both situations may call for an extra-exclusive pronominal protective layer?

Strategies of the speaker verbally distancing their child from the interlocutor - am I o'erreaching here?

:mrred: :!:
Spoiler:
I am in fact going with the Beneficiary for a Negative clause going into the Locative b/c its stark locational connotation gives that kind of "talk-to-the-handedness" that pushes away that much more than, IMHO, a somewhat warmer~fuzzier (benefactive) Dative implies. That's not to say … … surely some Rozwi speakers would just use a Dative for those Locatival arguments b/c reasons.

And there may be some who might argue "Hey: 'in one's direction' is more like an Accusative of Motion, or Allative. To which I say "Talk to the hand". [xP]

"Don't talk to me or my son ever again!"

In Itlani:

"Zhoyese ba zhoyit kurudjorese epyate ratá shta!"
(To-me or my to-son speak no-time again!")

*This is the emphatic form. In normal speech it could be said:

"Zhoyese ba zhoyit kurudjorese ratá shtaeypyate."
(To-me or my to-son no-time again-speak.")

mêm tay ho spréhsnij la'
son MARI_S:and-P_MARK:I S_MARK:stop speak(INJ)-S_MARK:way last-GOAL:none
Do not speak to me or my son ever again!

Lit : Speak to son and me stopping a way that's infinite.
You could precise "my son", even though it useless in that case. If so you'd just say "imêm" instead of "mêm".

Another common way to say it would be :

mêm tay sprahho ta hâné
son MARI_S:and-P_MARK:I speak-S_MARK:stop MARI_S:and S_MARK:again-NEG-GOAL:none(INJ)

Lit : Don't speak to son and me anymore and not again

Other information :

"Me or my son" is here translated : "mêm tay".
There are two things that should be noticed. First of all, it is literally : "son and I".
Following the order of the original sentence, one might wonder why the order isn't : "I and son". (I ta mêm)
Although this order would be correct, in deyryck, we tend to try and contract as much as possible. The order was changed in order for the contraction : "tay" (ta i) to be possible.

The second point the should be... pointed out is "ta". This is a marian synthesizer (MARI_S) that works just like "and" in English. If "to" (or) would have been used, the meaning of the sentence would have changed a lot. It would expect the man not to talk to "me" OR to "my son" hence making normal for the man to either talk to "me" OR to "my son".
One might be wondering if using "ta" would not cause another problem. Maybe the man is then not supposed to talk to "me" AND "my son" TOGETHER. No worries, "with" would be used to say such thing.

One last way to say it and the most common way to say it :

mêm tay spréhhâho
son MARI_S:and-P_MARK:I speak(INJ)-S_MARK:again-S_MARK:stop
Lit : Speak not again to son and I
