Do g'aaž (že)g'äbboq aa.
[dɔ ɡ ɐːʒ (ˈʒɛ)ɡ æˈbːɔʔ ɐː]
do g aa=ž (že)g ää=bo-q aa
PST cause DEF.R2=1S cause SR=want-CTVZ DEF.R2
I did it because i wanted to.

The difference between g and žeg is pretty minimal, but g tends to be used for a cause that is a more dynamic action (do something, make something happen) and žeg for a slightly more abstract cause (cause, reason) such as when asking for a justification, not just the trigger of the event. Using just g to introduce the subordinate clause is a little bit more like saying "My wanting to made me do it," whereas, with žeg, there is a little more of the sense that it influenced my decision to do it.
Glossing Abbreviations: COMP = comparative, C = complementiser, ACS / ICS = accessible / inaccessible, GDV = gerundive, SPEC / NSPC = specific / non-specific, AG = agent, E = entity (person, animal, thing)
