I found a quality Irish Gaelic dictionary! Starting today, I'm doing a letter a day in Gaelic with my LCV. Now I have a taste of what Salmoneus is studying!

https://www.focloir.ie/en/dictionary/ei/a

I've already done the A's!

And today I've finished the H's for Irish Gaelic, with the entry:

to hurt (will the shot ~?)

And with that, the LCV is now up to exactly 300 pages!

Finished doing the R's with help from this Irish dictionary.

Learned today that Irish Gaelic has a different way of saying "to ride" for riding a bicycle and riding a motorcycle (!) And if the riding is racing, it's a different verb altogether.

https://www.focloir.ie/en/dictionary/ei/ride

(Also learned that it has a different word for a roommate who merely lives in the same apartment as you do and a roommate who actually shares a bedroom with you. Some people would call the people who share my group home with me (none of whom lives in my bedroom) my roommates too, but I call them my housemates.)

With that, I'm three-quarters of the way through the dictionary with Irish.

Today I did the U's and the V's with Irish Gaelic. They're small enough sections of the alphabetized LCV that I can do them in one day.

Just two more days of the LCV alphabetical list with the Irish dictionary, and I'll be done with Irish!

I always thought American English was incredibly weird for calling people "roommates" when they don't live in the same room. Irish is normal.
Glossing Abbreviations: COMP = comparative, C = complementiser, ACS / ICS = accessible / inaccessible, GDV = gerundive, SPEC / NSPC = specific / non-specific, AG = agent, E = entity (person, animal, thing)
