We'll each ask our teams when they'd like the reveal for. Personally, I think at the end of Jan. would be good, but I've never been in a recon. relay before.
End of January is way too optimistic.

It takes way more time then that. Probably at least by the end of july. I've seen april suggested but it never came to be. If we have productive teams possibly it can end by april but i'm not sure about that.

Thought:
Currently all the teams have exactly 5 members.
If new folks show up, we can either:
A) add them to the current teams - more hands make work quicker assuming everyone's working.
B) make a new team - longer time to allow catching up, qualty's fine 'cause even two or three langs can be a challenge to recon. if done right.

Am I a little too late to join? The idea is interesting.

The grammar is mostly done by us, but it's missing some things.

Any ideas about the culture of the speakers? Do we want these in the same world?

Regarding culture, I have ideas, but I don't know what the others in the group think. Each member has theirs, though I assume we agree more than not.
Shall we plan culture together? If so, then what details in particular?

Also, I had assumed that our protolangs weren't were in the same world. But I don't know.
Really, I want the team to weigh in in on all this before I say anything.

At least the world of my languages is fantastical with gods and goddesses and a variety of races. I made a map but i will revise it once i get back on my main computer. Further west we probably see some more plains followed by other nations to the west (possibly yours). Our speakers were originally pastoralists through at the date of the proto language they would have been somewhat peaceful due to a lack of competition. It's also worth noting the speakers are longer lived then humans so the proto language dates wouldn't align up exactly even if we are saying the daughters are spoken at the same time.

With us, I don't think any of us have indicated gods and goddesses are real and tangible. I think we've also been assuming that our speakers are basically human (not sure if that excludes everything you've made up so far, which by the way is very impressive).
Again, a lot of details need to get hashed out by us.

I should've asked you whether we'd share a world earlier. Gosh, you asked us! Argh...
