Alright, I'm joining the trend. I'm making an archive.
Mind you, not a sketchpad or scrap page. I don't think either terms cover what I want to do.

I like archiving my work in real life.
I'm going to post archived langs here. Some are scraps, but some are more worked out. Maybe they may pick up from here.
I will edit this post to list them here chronologically, but obviously they won't be posted chronologically, so I'll edit links onto this post as well.

Lol. I was part of a Discord server where they basically made me an entire channel just to post about conlanging so it wouldn't clog the channels. After I left they removed it.

It's sad that they removed it ─ all those ideas, lost to time...

One thing that makes archiving on here hard is that these things are texts. These texts developed as I wrote them, self-referencing their prior words, changing things as they went on, sometimes leaving things unexplained, much like a proper corpus of literature over time. Therefore, by me presenting things on here, I am summarizing the process - essentially, not presenting the corpus as much as adding a summary to it. So, be aware of what I am doing.

/a e i u/! My favorite four-vowel system (aside from /e o i u/)! I used in in Ruykkarraber.

Short vocabulary:

Naka - hyena (also, degenerate)
Ká'skuja - home
Teira - walk, later changed to go
Axau' - a kind of vegetable (looks like an endive I guess, provides a peppery flavour, used like bonito flakes are in Japan)
Pūzé - eat
Bajei - vegetable food (in general)

Verbs are marked with -jeu for predictive (translated often as future) and -ru marks perfective.

-xa for nominalizes verbs (I don't think they can take both).

Basic grammar:

SOV, but topic/comment and plurality are marked in (optional!?) case particles.
Insane and probably unnatural but who cares? Natlangs are unnatural.

Topic Comment instead of reg. S/O (I had no idea how to do this, so I ended up creating man entirely new thing. In retrospect, this to me is what half-knowing something can make: something original)

Grammar:

Basic word order is SVO. Thus, the comment system comes in handy for marking info down as important.
A basic sentence might look like this:

Hyena went home.

Naka Ba’ Kás’kuja Dái Teira

Hyena went home.

Note a couple things: One, you can mark not only the object as the T or C, but also the whole predicate, or just the verb. Two, marking the predicate looks exactly the same as marking the verb alone. Three, and I noted this explicitly - Kás’kuja Teira is not a compound. (More on that later.) Four, the highlighting also works in reverse: the C-mark identifies what is less worthy of focus on.

As well, you can just drop a marker if you have enough context:

Let’s now make some more complex sentences.
Firstly, since the main thing is that the phrase be OV, the subject can be displaced. (So, OVS)

Kás’kuja Bi’ Teira Naka Gē
Home-ObjC.sg Go Hyena-SuT.pl
Went home did the hyenas.

Now, I don’t know what exact syntax rules I had in mind here long ago, but here’s an oblique sentence I wrote:

Axau’ Su Bajei Tā Pūzéjeu Naka Rī
Axau-OblT.pl Vegetable-ObjT.pl Eat.pred Hyena SuT.sg
Hyena will eat Axau for vegetables. (lit. Hyena ate vegetables by means of Axau)

Notable here is that everything here is in topic. So maybe topic is the wrong word - focus maybe is the better term.

Nominalization and copula:

Quote:
“-xa turns the verb into a noun.
(Will this not allow the noun to exist without another verb?)

It’s a nominalizer. Interpret the above as you please. (I think it’s auxiliary and copula stuff being discussed, but I can’t remember.) On the same page are the following examples (corrected according to a prior note):

The latter is a mess to analyze, so we'll move on for now.
